Refund Policy
Last updated: 30 August 2026.
This policy applies to projects supplied by 4Onl under the Web Agency On name.
Payment structure
Unless a written project agreement says otherwise:
- 50% is paid before production begins;
- 50% is paid after approval and before final deployment or handover.
Payment requests are sent privately, normally through PayPal.
Cancellation before production begins
If we accept a project and receive the initial payment but production has not yet begun, the client may request cancellation.
In that situation, the initial payment will normally be refunded in full, less any non-refundable third-party cost that the client expressly authorised us to incur.
Cancellation after production begins
Once production has begun, the initial 50% payment reserves production capacity and covers briefing, planning, design and development work.
It is therefore not automatically refundable after work has started.
Where a project is cancelled after production begins, we will review the work completed and costs already incurred. If the amount retained would materially exceed the value of work performed and committed costs, we may refund the unearned balance.
Nothing in this policy removes any refund or cancellation right that applicable mandatory law gives to a customer.
Cancellation by Web Agency On
If we cancel a project without client breach and cannot provide the paid-for work, we will refund any amount corresponding to services not supplied.
Client delays or abandonment
A project is not considered cancelled merely because it is paused while waiting for client information, assets, feedback or payment.
If a client remains unresponsive for an extended period, we may close or reschedule the project after reasonable notice.
Completed work and production time already provided remain chargeable.
Dissatisfaction and revisions
A request for a different creative direction or for additional functionality is not automatically a refund event.
We will first apply any revision rounds included in the agreed scope.
If there is a reproducible implementation defect, the post-launch correction provisions in the Terms of Service apply.
Delivery timing
Published or agreed delivery estimates depend on receiving complete client inputs on time.
Web Agency On does not currently offer an unconditional “miss the deadline and the project is free” guarantee.
PayPal
Payments may be processed by PayPal.
PayPal's platform rules and dispute procedures operate separately from this policy and do not alter rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Requesting a cancellation or refund review
Email [email protected] and include:
- your name;
- business or agency name;
- project reference;
- reason for the request.
We will review the request against the project status, work completed and applicable law.
